Express Polythene offers a vast range of polythene and packaging products direct from our warehouse. With over 40 years of experience, our service exceeds the expectations of our customers. We aim to meet all of your packaging requirements and pride ourselves on our personalised service.
Express Polythene is based in Digbeth, in Birmingham city centre with convenient access to the Bull Ring and New Street Station. The company occupies the building with Express Packaging, which was created in 2000 as an independent subsidiary company.

If you are local, or passing through Birmingham, please call in – we can provide a variety of samples from our extensive stocks. We’re always happy to meet customers and whatever your requirement, our dedicated and enthusiastic staff will help you with any aspect of your packaging needs.
We are a completely independent family business, based on the following principles:
- We are the Polythene and Packaging Specialists. We can cater for all your needs with a product range that includes polythene bags, carrier bags, bubble wrap, sheeting, sacks, pallet wrap, tape and cardboard boxes.
- We hold Large Stocks – 22,000 square feet enables us to hold millions of polythene bags, and vast quantities across our diverse product range.
- We Distribute Nationwide(Mainland UK) to Meet the Needs of our Customers. We can offer next working day delivery if orders are placed by 1pm Mon – Fri, or alternatively a 2 – 3 day service at an extra charge. Where possible, subject to minimum value and availability, we can provide a same day service at an extra cost for customers based in the West Midlands. All of our products are delivered promptly using our own vehicles, or the services of established national and international carriers.
- We are Committed to Providing High Value Products. We only source our products from suppliers that meet our high standards of quality control. For example, our standard polythene bags are virgin low density (LDPE). Increasingly today, this means taking into consideration our environment. Where possible, we aim to source biodegradable materials.
- We Provide a Fair Price, for high value products, where we aim to be competitive quantity for quantity.
